About the GST Calculator

Frequently asked questions
- How do I remove GST from a price?
- Divide the GST-inclusive price by 1 plus the rate as a decimal. At 18% you divide by 1.18. Choose the Remove GST mode and the tool does this.
- Which GST rates are current?
- India moved to mainly 5% and 18% slabs, with 40% for a few goods, under the 2025 GST reforms. Older 12% and 28% options remain in the list for past invoices. Always check the rate for your item.
